Each day we read about children that have been sexual abused by trusted adults.  The criminal justice system is there to punish the perpetrator, not to seek civil justice for the victim.  While no amount of money can make up for the life changing and lifelong emotional and physical harm caused, in our imperfect system, we try to put a dollar amount on the harm caused.  As your attorney, we can  seek important changes in the way employers, associations and organization hire, train and educate their staff so to prevent the hiring of predators.  We can also seek changes in how they educate potential victim to recognize inappropriate patterns of grooming by a predator – and provide them with a safe and effective way to report the conduct.
